Getting to Harris
There are several options available when travelling to the Isle of Harris, if coming for a short break then flying is obviously the quickest. If you have time to spare and want to enjoy the stunning scenery that Scotland has to offer then the drive will take you through the heart of the Highlands.
Island hopping via Skye is a breathtaking experience, each island is rich in beauty and each has its own unique landscapes and culture. Take the route north via Inverness and you can enjoy the capital of the Highlands.

Flybe operated by Loganair operate flights 4 times daily, Monday to Saturday, to Stornoway from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.
There is a Sunday flight from Glasgow. If you are island hopping there are also daily flights from Glasgow to Barra and Benbecula, from Monday to Saturday.
Eastern Airways operate one flight from Aberdeen Monday - Friday.
Caledonian MacBrayne operate the ferry services to the islands, but they do have a seasonal timetable so please check their website. It is advisable to book a space for your car in advance, but not necessary for passengers.
