Getting to Harris

Walking on HarrisThere are several options available when travelling to the Isle of Harris, if coming for a short break then flying is obviously the quickest.  If you have time to spare and want to enjoy the stunning scenery that Scotland has to offer then the drive will take you through the heart of the Highlands. 

Island hopping via Skye is a breathtaking experience, each island is rich in beauty and each has its own unique landscapes and culture.  Take the route north via Inverness and you can enjoy the capital of the Highlands.

By Air:

Loganair, Flybie and Eastern Airways operate a number of flights to/from Stornoway, to airports such as Glasgow, Inverness, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Manchester. 

 

By Ferry:

Caledonian MacBrayne operate the ferry services to the islands, but they do have a seasonal timetable so please check their website. It is advisable to book a space Travel to Harrisin advance.
