Ferries
- Ferries operate into Stornoway, Tarbert and Leverburgh with Caledonian MacBrayne. Ferries can be extremely busy from April to September so we advise booking well in advance.

- By Train – Travel to Inverness. Information from Scotrail – Tel: 08456 015929 or National Rail – Tel: 0845 748950 and connect by coach to Ullapool. You can travel by rail to Mallaig or Kyle of Lochalsh, both on the north-west mainland, then journey by bus through the Isle of Skye to the ferry crossing from Uig to Tarbert, Harris.
- By Bus – It is possible to travel to Inverness and also from Inverness to Ullapool to connect with the ferry. Please note this needs to be booked in advance for both directions. Contact City Link – Tel: 08705 505050
